Our National service project
From a relationship that began on a barstool in 1963, a 40-year friendship has grown into a committed partnership. Over the years, Kinsmen and Kinettes have devoted their efforts to an incredible assortment of events ranging from Daisy Days to road tolls to barbecues – all to help fight cystic fibrosis.
We are excited to announce that the 16th annual Ride for a Lifetime is back on the road.
The 2018 Kinsmen Ride for a Lifetime will see Calgary (and area) motorcyclists take to the highway in support of Kids Cancer Care through pledges and sponsorship.
Since 1993 the Kinsmen Club of the Stampede City has been the biggest and most active supporter of the ALBERTA CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL. Every year our Lotto Committee, the Kinsmen Care Foundation (of the Stampede City), and our Lotto Managers (Stride Management), work closely together to produce what has become one of the most respected and rewarding Lotto’s in Alberta.
The Stampede City Kinsmen have a long standing, valued relationship and partnership with URSA [Universal Rehabilitation Service Agency].
In 2009, Kin Canada adopted a national project so named “Portraits of Honour” which is a 10ft.x 40ft mural depicting the faces of our fallen troops in the Afghanistan theatre.
